What is sam mcguffie?

Sam McGuffie is a former American football player who played as a running back. He was born on October 20, 1989, in Cypress, Texas.

McGuffie began his college football career at the University of Michigan before transferring to Rice University, where he played from 2009 to 2012. During his time at Rice, he rushed for over 1,000 yards in three consecutive seasons and earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors in 2009.

After college, McGuffie signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2013 but was later released. He went on to have stints with the Arizona Cardinals and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League before retiring from professional football.

In addition to his football career, McGuffie is also known for his success as a college track and field athlete. He was a standout long jumper and hurdler at Rice University, earning multiple conference championships and All-American honors in track and field events.
